Empowering Courageous Women and Girls on International Women's Day

Goal: Provide 350 dignity kits to displaced women and girls in the Karenni IDP camps by International Women's Day 2026.

In 2023, our pilot project distributed 100 critically-needed dignity kits, providing basic sanitary and health items to vulnerable women and girls. With your support, we aim to more than triple this impact, reaching 350 women over the next two years.

The kits contain essentials like monthly sanitary pads, panti, towels, toothbrushes, and a personal utility/safety item. By providing these necessities, we empower women and girls to maintain their health and hygiene, despite the difficult conditions in the internally displaced camps. Access to basic items also enables greater safety, mobility and preserves the dignity of displaced women and girls.

On March 8th 2026, International Women's Day, we envision celebrating the distribution of the 1500 kits - representing 1500 women and girls whose resilience, courage, health and voices have been supported through your generosity. This campaign creates positive change by directly assisting our Myanmar courageous women and girls who need it most. We hope you will join us in this meaningful endeavor.

Why is this important?
