The objective of the upcoming Project Management Internship Program with Sone Yay Foundation is to provide aspiring project leaders with an opportunity to gain practical experience in the nonprofit sector. Sone Yay's Interns will learn how to effectively manage a range of projects from development and implementation to evaluation and completion based on their career goals. Through this program, interns will gain a strong understanding of how to successfully lead and manage projects, developing skills in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, communication, and problem solving.

Description

The Sone Yay's project management internship program is open to all those who are ready for workforce or any high school graduates,  undergraduate and graduate students from Myanmar and beyond. We are looking for self starter, passionate, driven, and motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to the success of their personal and professional life while contributing their services in rebuilding their new democratic country.

The program will also help interns gain a better understanding of how the nonprofit sector works and how to effectively collaborate with other organizations. This program will provide a unique and hands-on experience with  their focused career development skills to work in either profit or nonprofit sector. 

Interns will be provided with a broad range of experiences, including but not limited to:

• Participating in virtual meetings and learning even administration and recruitment skills
• Learning about fundraising and grant writing/proposal to potential donors
• Working on projects with a focus on nonprofit project management in communication perspectives
• Researching and developing strategies for organizational development
• Gain opportunity to assist in social media campaign and mass outreach
• Assisting with event planning and individual fundraising campaigns via various platforms
• Working with both local and intl. partners and supporting in existing and upcoming project initiatives
